Miguel Collado is a principal and co-founder of Technica Corporation and serves as CEO and CTO for the company. As an owner/operator, Miguel guides our corporate management, develops strategic partnerships, and leads our technical capability development. He is also the senior level visionary in technical specialties and innovation including low-cost high-performance computing, big data analytics, and software application development. Prior to establishing Technica, Miguel was a principal engineer at Computer Sciences Corporation, and BBN, leading field and innovation activities for federal civilian government markets. He holds a B.S. in Computer Sciences from La Salle University.

Rhonda Freeman

Senior Vice President - Engineering
Rhonda Freeman serves as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Technica’s Innovation Research and Development (IR&D) Lab providing Network Engineering and Software Engineering management services to various Technica Corporation government clients.

She has technically supervised and implemented many communications projects, including systems projects, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based software implementation projects, optical equipment installations, and large-scale Internet Protocol (IP) network implementations. Rhonda’s direct experience includes managing projects from laboratory testing through implementation and ongoing systems support. She holds a Post Master’s Certificate in Telecommunications, a M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics and Communications, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Jeff Fowler

Executive Vice President
Jeff Fowler serves as Executive Vice President responsible for the company’s programs and business operations working closely with the CEO to strengthen the company’s mission of providing innovative high-end systems engineering and services to our clients. He has held similar roles in government services contracting companies for the last several years.

Jeff completed 32 years of U.S. Navy service in 2010, retiring as a Vice Admiral. As a career submariner, he served on five submarines, including command of USS Charlotte (SSN 766), and was the commander of Submarine Squadron Three’s eight fast-attack, nuclear-powered submarines.

Following selection to Flag Officer, Jeff served as Commander, Navy Recruiting Command, responsible for all active and reserve Navy recruiting in the nation; as Commander, Submarine Group 8 in Naples, Italy; and as the 60th Superintendent of the United States Naval Academy.

In addition to earning a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from the United States Naval Academy, Jeff’s education includes master’s degrees in Business Administration from the Chaminade University of Honolulu and in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Riaz Siddiqui

Vice President - Finance and Accounting
Riaz Siddiqui is responsible for the management of accounting operations, external audit coordination, internal control, financial systems and revenue recognition at Technica. Riaz is responsible for treasury and cash management functions and assists the Business Development department with acquisition due diligence and financial evaluation. He is experienced with the preparation of incurred cost submissions and has worked with DCAA auditors. Riaz works closely with other operational divisions to analyze project results and directs the development of tools for managing operational goals such as Costpoint and T&E upgrade and implementation. He holds a M.B.A. in Finance from Strayer University, and a B.S. in Accounting from St. John’s University.

Vice President, Project Management Office
As Vice President of the Project Management Office, Gerry Morelli is responsible for the operational excellence of all programs under the Technica umbrella: single site, multi-site, prime, partnered, and sub-contracted. His direct focus is to drive profitable program growth, team management and development, quality control of deliverables, and establish standards of performance across all programs.

With a distinguished career of over 20 years, Gerry has an outstanding track record. He has managed IT and Cybersecurity, executing successful operations, programs, and projects for large organizations through all lifecycle stages. He has established Project Management Offices (PMOs), operations, quality controls, procedures, and systems (Lean Six Sigma, CMMI) that ensure fiscal solvency, efficiency, and sustainable quality business models.

Prior to joining Technica, he held leadership positions at ManTech International, Apex Computer Systems and Northrop Grumman Corp. Gerry has served honorably in the United States Air Force.

Gerry holds an MBA from Regis University with an emphasis in Computer Systems and a B.S in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Great Falls. Along with his formal education he holds many industry certifications such as Program Management Professional (PgMP) – (PMI), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Scrum and CMMI.

Director of Human Resources
Steve Hatch is the Head of Human Resources, Marketing & Communications for Technica, leading all functions including workforce strategy design, talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards, employee engagement, and marketing & communications strategy.

Before joining Technica, Steve held senior leadership positions in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition at Booz Allen Hamilton and Lockheed Martin, as well as did strategic HR consulting work with start-ups to small-size companies. Steve is an experienced executive with more than 20 years of experience leading, developing and, executing key initiatives including: new business acquisition integrations, compensation methodology design & market pricing, joint venture talent acquisition organizational design, multi-million dollar RFP and program staffing strategies, workforce planning, coaching and leadership development, talent attraction strategy, and diversity and inclusion.

Steve holds an MBA from The George Washington University with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior and a B.S in Business Management from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior and a minor in Psychology. Along with his formal education, Steve has an active SPHR certification and was a certified Executive Coach.

Senior Manager, Technology Solutions
As Senior Manager, Technology Solutions, Lori Beckert is responsible for managing a diverse team of individuals that support the growth of strategic OEM partnerships in the Technology Solutions team of Technica. This includes managing the business development process for Technology Solution opportunities, managing the development of marketing and vendor relations plans, and aligning the business development and engineering team with the vendor strategy.

Lori has 20 years of experience supporting public sector customers. At Technica, she has been responsible for Accounting, Purchasing, Warehousing, Sales Operations, and NASA SEWP Program Management. Prior to joining Technica, Lori held General Manager positions within multiple retail businesses and other business office environments providing her a long history in customer service.

Larry Gusman

Legal Counsel

Larry Gusman serves as the Legal Counsel and is responsible for providing comprehensive legal solutions on public sector and commercial contracts, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, Intellectual Property Rights, and data privacy and security risk management. His expertise includes navigating complex regulatory environments, negotiating contracts, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and drive market growth. 

Larry's professional accomplishments reflect his proficiency in the legal field, including a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Roger J. Miner of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and appointment as an Assistant United States Attorney for Washington, D.C., negotiating contracts resulting in over $750 million in revenue, advising on cybersecurity protocols for cloud solutions, and successfully leading an international joint venture project under budget and ahead of schedule. With a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Virginia Tech and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from American University Washington College of Law, Larry brings a strong academic background and a wealth of practical experience to his role, making him a valuable asset in ensuring legal compliance and fostering business success.
