On September 24, 2021, the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force published guidance on COVID-19 workplace safety for federal contractors and subcontractors. This guidance was published under the direction of Executive Order 14042 (EO 14042), Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors. As directed by EO 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, all current and newly hired employees are required to be fully vaccinated by January 18, 2022. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their last dose of their vaccine.
Technica requires that newly hired employees present proof of vaccination prior to their first day of employment. Exceptions to the vaccine mandate are permitted in limited circumstances where the employee is legally entitled to an accommodation. Technica will consider requests for accommodations to the vaccine mandate during the recruiting process.
