BIM is a potential 10-year, $12.5 billion multiple-award contract to modernize, maintain, and operate the DAF’s base area network infrastructure.
The BIM program seeks to deliver a modernized wireless architecture to facilitate interoperability with joint network and mission systems, offer centralized vulnerability management and provide reliable data connects across installations.
Scope of Services
Under this IDIQ, vendors will furnish, upgrade, design, test, install, and maintain all NIPR and SIPR BAN wired and wireless components, having to adapt to significantly unique situations at each base to help the government modernize network infrastructure and emulate industry best practices. The scope encompasses a broad range of services tailored to the needs of individual Task Orders, which will specify detailed requirements through Performance Work Statements, enabling the DAF’s prevalence over all adversaries through the employment of cutting-edge data techniques, technology, and infrastructure.
