Dulles, Va. – January 18, 2021 – Technica Corporation, a leader in high-end systems engineering and operations for mission-critical networks and applications, has been awarded a $950,000,000 ceiling indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the maturation, demonstration, and proliferation of capability across platforms and domains, leveraging open systems design, modern software, and algorithm development in order to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2). This contract is part of a multiple-award multi-level security effort to provide development and operation of systems as a unified force across all domains (air, land, sea, space, cyber, and electromagnetic spectrum) in an open architecture family of systems that enables capabilities via multiple integrated platforms.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Chief Architect Integration Office (CAIO) has selected Technica to perform work in Sensor Integration, Data, Connectivity, and Applications to enable rapid decision making and all-domain command and control.
Among the capabilities highlighted in the Technica proposal are Technica’s SmartFog and cleArInsights solutions. SmartFog, which provides a unique battlefield sensor integration architecture based upon the principles of fog computing set forth by NIST, allows flexible integration with existing air, space, and ground systems and sensors. cleArInsights, is a natural language processing (NLP) powered software application. It ingests harvested caches of unstructured textual data from any source and finds exploitable value, meaningful intelligence, or patterns used to inform strategic or tactical C2 decision-making.
“Technica has been a dedicated partner with the U.S. Air Force for over a decade,” said Technica President and CEO Miguel Collado. “This award reinforces our commitment to the Air Force mission of flying, fighting and winning in air, space, and cyberspace through low-risk, high quality, and innovative technologies that establish decision superiority for ensuring warfighting readiness.”
