Dulles, VA – October 29, 2009 – Technica Corporation, a leader in Network Management, Network Defense, Global Information Grid (GIG) Enterprise Management, and Information Assurance (IA) for the Federal Government, announced today that it has been awarded the contract for Identity and Access Management (IdAM) – Development and Sustainment Support for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Program Executive Office for Mission Assurance (PEO-MA). The contract is valued at approximately $15 M if all option years are exercised. Technica, along with sub-contractor Deloitte, will provide Enterprise IT Policy and Planning, Integrated Solutions Management, Asset Management, Security Engineering and Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and Operations Support assistance to DISA in support of their mission.

The IdAM contract will support the Federal Government by providing a wide range of services including multiple tasks designed to establish, operate and maintain an Identity and Access Management laboratory evaluation environment and develop an IdAM engineering blueprint. In addition, Technica will participate in exercises to evaluate products; participate in the development of an operational pilot for U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM); and develop Implementation Guides for selected best value commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) product solutions.
