Dulles, VA – April 15, 2015 – Technica Corporation, a leader in systems engineering, software development, information assurance and product solutions for the Federal Government, announced today that it has been named one of the awardees of three important government contracts. The contracts are: Air Force Network Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) Network Operations and Infrastructure Solutions (NETOPS), Small Business contract NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V (SEWP V) Group D, and FBI Enterprise Software Engineering and Support Services (ITSSS STOR 90C). The NETCENTS-2 NetOps contract is Technica’ s first major contract with the Air Force while SEWP V and FBI ITSSS STOR 90C build upon work the company is delivering to its existing customers.

About Air Force NETCENTS-2 NetOps
Technica is one of 17 awardees of the Air Force NETCENTS-2 NetOps contract. This contract will allow Technica to provide a wide range of netcentric Information Technology (IT) services and solutions in support of the Air Force and its mission. NETCENTS-2 NetOps is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that has a total potential value of $5.8 billion over a four-year base period with three one-year options.
Through this contract program, Technica and its partners will provide Network Operations (NetOps), Infrastructure, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementation and transformation services and solutions to USAF and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies at locations inside the contiguous United States (CONUS), outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS) and in war zone areas. The services and solutions provided will address the development, acquisition, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of Air Force infrastructure and network operations. This contract will also aid Air Force production, research and development, and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) mission capabilities.

Together they bring in-depth capabilities to develop, integrate and operate network operations and cyber defense solutions on Air Force and DoD platforms, networks and installations worldwide. About NASA SEWP V
SEWP V is a Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle focused on state-of-the-art computers and servers; IT peripherals; network equipment; storage systems; security tools; software products; cloud-based services; video conferencing systems; and other IT and audiovisual products, as well as related support services such as installation, training and maintenance. SEWP V has a low surcharge fee of 0.39% and uses easy and fast ordering procedures via a pre-competed contract. The broad scope of IT products, combined with its low cost and ease of use, will make SEWP V an attractive vehicle for many government agencies. Technica has added to its SEWP suppliers (including Avnet, Immix Group, Ingram Micro, and ScanSource), manufacturers, and products and made significant investment in its people, processes, tools, and techniques. The SEWP V contract will have a 10-year effective ordering period, including a five-year base period from May 1 to April 31, 2020, and one five-year option to extend the period of performance through April 30, 2025 with a maximum ceiling of $20 billion for all overall awardees and categories.
SEWP V provides Technica with an opportunity to continue supplying products and services to NASA and its customers, as it has as a Prime holder on the SEWP III and SEWP IV contracts. This past experience gives the company a deep understanding of the SEWP program and Technica has substantially increased its product offering for SEWP V. As a previous contract holder on this program, Technica has efficient and effective internal electronic processes and corporate tools already developed and in place to perform all administrative aspects of the new contract. The company’s dedicated team of product engineering staff (its Product Solutions Group) has a deep understanding of the challenges, peculiarities, and uniqueness of the SEWP program, as well as in-depth, hands-on knowledge of IT environment, network, architecture, and system design providing innovative product solutions.
About FBI Enterprise Software Engineering and Support Services
The primary focus of the FBI Enterprise Software Engineering and Support Services contract (ITSSS STOR 90C) is acquiring professional services support to meet Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and engineering support requirements for current and future task initiatives within FBI’s Enterprise Applications and Database Service Section (EADSS) of the Information Technology Application Division (ITAD). EADSS provides software application, data services, and database development and management to support FBI business operations including financial, human resource, asset management, field operations, and similar capabilities. The FBI ITSSS STOR 90C will have a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. Technica will provide engineering and development, implementation and integration, testing and verification, operations and maintenance, IT Service Management (ITSM), and technical training under ITSSS STOR 90C. The base period is April 2015 to March 2016. Exercise of all options will extend the period of performance through March 2020. The contract has a total ceiling of $37 million for all years.
ITSSS STOR 90C is the third task order win for Technica as a Prime Contractor on the FBI IT Triple S Vehicle which is an important program for future innovations at the FBI. Technica will utilize its established status as a “trusted advisor” at the FBI to continually advance the state of operations in partnership with the agency. As a CMMI Level 2-appraised company, Technica has completed ITSM Best Practices under ITSSS STOR 4 to improve testing and evaluation, service definition, configuration management, and network engineering and is well-positioned to provide similar ITSM support for EADSS under ITSSS STOR 90C. In addition, this program will maintain and enhance mission critical systems in support of the FBI’s role in national security.
