Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer
Miguel Collado is a principal and co-founder of Technica Corporation and serves as CEO and CTO for the company. As an owner/operator, Miguel guides our corporate management, develops strategic partnerships, and leads our technical capability development. He is also the senior level visionary in technical specialties and innovation including low-cost high-performance computing, big data analytics, and software application development. Prior to establishing Technica, Miguel was a principal engineer at Computer Sciences Corporation, and BBN, leading field and innovation activities for federal civilian government markets. He holds a B.S. in Computer Sciences from La Salle University.
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer
Bill Groah, principal and co-founder, is our CFO/CIO and has held various C-level roles in the company throughout its history. As an owner/operator, Bill is also responsible for all aspects of company financial planning and operations, management information systems and infrastructure. Bill has lead planning and operations at Technica from its inception as an emerging small business with an initial $1,000 in capital in commercial markets, to a subcontractor in government markets, and now as a prime/large business with over $90M in revenue. In addition, Bill is responsible for planning and leading merger and acquisition activities, as well as alternate funding and financing of innovation-related activities. Prior to establishing Technica, Bill was a principal engineer at Computer Sciences Corporation, leading program and project management and control, and value engineering activities in federal civilian government markets as well as technical consulting in commercial markets. He holds a M.B.A. and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Senior Vice President, Integrated Technologies
Mark O’Donnell is responsible for the Integrated Technologies Division of Technica, which is focused on providing systems integration products and services for our federal clients. Mark also manages our support teams responsible for our OEM Partner relationships and is focused on expanding our service partner network in order to support large scale, global, multi-vendor deployments. In addition, Mark’s team drives the development of larger solutions-based programs for our clients and is responsible for our vendor, customer, and product sales support systems. He has over 30 years’ experience in the government sector including top-level executive positions at such companies as Inacom Government Systems (IGS), Vanstar Government Systems, Sysorex Information Systems and GTSI. Mark has completed executive management courses in Strategic Management at Wharton Business School and is a United States Navy Veteran.
Director of Proposal Services, Integrated Technologies
Michelle brings over 30 years of experience in Government proposal development and operations to Technica. As Director of Proposal Services, Michelle is responsible for the preparation and submission of complex proposals and task orders for Information Technology products and services for Government and Commercial clients. Previously she was Vice President of Proposal Operations for Apptis, Inc. and BAE Systems Information Technology Inc. Michelle also brings prior experience from various proposal management roles at Inacom Government Systems, Vanstar Government Systems, Sysorex Information Systems, and Falcon Microsystems. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Williams College.
Director of Business Programs and Alliances, Integrated Technologies
As Director of Business Programs and Alliances, Daniel Doherty is responsible for managing a diverse team of individuals that support the growth of strategic OEM partnerships in the Integrated Technologies Division of Technica. This include managing the business development process for Integrated Technologies opportunities, managing the development of marketing and vendor relations plans, and aligning the sales engineering team with the vendor strategy.
Dan has over 17 years of experience supporting public sector customers. At Technica, he has been responsible for developing the overall capture management process as well as managing proposal activities for several strategic programs. Prior to joining Technica, Dan worked in business development and proposal roles at other systems integrators including Sysorex Federal, Stratesec and GTSI. Dan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Communication Sciences.
John G. Treires
John G. Treires
Director of Sales, Integrated Technologies
As Director of Sales for the Integrated Technologies Division, John Treires is responsible for managing the Agency Account Executives and the Inside Sales Team with specific focus on driving new growth within Federal DoD and Civilian Agencies for Product Solutions, Services Integration and Support business opportunities.
John has been supporting public sector customers in the completion of their missions for more than 20 years. Before joining the Technica team, he served as Director of Sales for Kinetic Data. Prior to that he held Sales Management/Business Development positions with L-3 Communications, Actuate, Next Tier Concepts and EDS. John graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Management.
Vice President, Business Development, Enterprise Services
Pauline Healy is responsible for all business development and marketing for the Technica Enterprise Services division. She has held senior executive and business development management positions at a variety of well-established government contracting companies including Dynamics Research Corporation (acquired by Engility), QinetiQ North America, and Apptis. Most recently Pauline served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Centuria, and the Vice President, Business Development for Dovel Technologies. She has been involved with the U.S. Air Force her entire career, first starting as an acquisition officer for the government then rising through the ranks in various business and problem solving roles. Pauline has an MBA from Western New England University, and is certified Level III in Acquisition Management. In addition, she is actively engaged in Professional Services Council, Washington Exec, and the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia.
Director of DoD, DOJ, and Intelligence Community Programs
Andrew Scarcella has over 17 years of experience in the public service sector. He is responsible for the management of the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Justice (DOJ) and Intelligence Community (IC) practice areas for Technica. Prior to joining our company Andy spent 11 years with BearingPoint leading multiple projects for DoD clients. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Strategic Studies degree from the U.S. Army War College.
Director of Air Force Programs
Lenny Schaefer is the Director of Air Force Programs at Technica. He is responsible for managing our support to the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and Component Commands (COCOMs), and overseeing our NETCENTS-2 NetOps Small Business contract. Lenny has more than 30 years of acquisition, operations management, business development, strategic planning and systems/process engineering experience with the USAF and companies such as NCI, DRC, L-3 Communications and MITRE.
While serving as a core acquisition officer in the USAF, Lenny was a Level III Program Manager as well as a warranted contracting officer. Since retiring from the USAF, he has been a software development manager, senior acquisition advisor, systems engineer, an operations director and a business development vice president. Lenny holds an MBA from Auburn University at Montgomery, and a Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Operations Research and Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Director of Proposal Services, Enterprise Services
As Director of Proposal Services, Enterprise Services, Brian Ramseur manages a team of experienced professionals in the development of compelling and compliant proposals for IT, network engineering, software development, and cybersecurity services. His team is also responsible for capture management and pricing for the Enterprise Services Division.
Brian has over 11 years of proposal writing and management experience for DoD, DISA, USAF, FBI, and the IC, as well as state and commercial clients. He began his career at Technica in 2007 and returned to the company in 2015 after two years with Booz Allen Hamilton. Brian graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Director of Engineering
Rhonda Eldridge provides Network Engineering and Software Engineering management services to various Technica Corporation government clients. She has technically supervised and implemented many communications projects, including systems projects, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based software implementation projects, optical equipment installations, and large-scale Internet Protocol (IP) network implementations. Rhonda’s direct experience includes managing projects from laboratory testing through implementation and ongoing systems support. She holds a Post Master’s Certificate in Telecommunications, a M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics and Communications, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
Director of Finance and Accounting
Riaz Siddiqui is responsible for the management of accounting operations, external audit coordination, internal control, financial systems and revenue recognition at Technica. Riaz is responsible for treasury and cash management functions and assists the Business Development department with acquisition due diligence and financial evaluation. He is experienced with the preparation of incurred cost submissions and has worked with DCAA auditors. Riaz works closely with other operational divisions to analyze project results and directs the development of tools for managing operational goals such as Costpoint and T&E upgrade and implementation. He holds a M.B.A. in Finance from Strayer University, and a B.S. in Accounting from St. John’s University.
Director of Business Operations
As Director of Business Operations, Jeff Hallett is leading efforts at Technica to continually improve our company’s program, quality, and systems engineering management maturity levels. He brings more than 20 years of public and private sector experience including working with the Departments of State, Commerce, Defense, Justice, Energy, and the Environmental Protection Agency. Jeff served as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, with assignments in the Philippines, Taiwan, France, and Washington, DC. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Project Management Institute’s Washington, DC Chapter, and led a number of corporate and educational outreach initiatives for the Chapter. Jeff is a graduate of Emory University and holds an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management.
General Counsel, Contracts Manager
Paul Gentry is responsible for the execution and administrative management of all Technica contracts and subcontracts. Paul negotiates, executes and processes our non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, consulting agreements and various other contracts-related agreements. He also has contracts management experience in the environmental engineering, aerospace product manufacturing, telecommunications, software engineering and IT engineering industries. Along with his legal expertise, Paul also has general accounting and project budget management experience in the environmental engineering, hospitality, pharmaceutical testing and aerospace product manufacturing industries. He holds degrees in law, chemistry, and accounting and has active Law Bar memberships in California and Virginia.
Security Manager, FSO
Eric Pelikan is responsible for all aspects of industrial security and NISPOM compliance for Technica. Eric has seven years of experience in security management for federal contracting companies and has attained his Industrial Security Professional certification from the National Classification Management Society. Eric is also certified as a GSA Lock, Vault and Safe Technician by Lockmasters Security Institute. Prior to working for federal contractors, Eric served as the Assistant Security Manager for the Second Marine Corps Aircraft Wing. As part of the Commanding General Inspection Team, Eric inspected offices for compliance with security regulations.
Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Human Resources
Melanie Smith leads our Human Resources department and is responsible for developing organizational change initiatives throughout our company. Melanie focuses on maturing our organizational systems, increasing communication across business lines, promoting positive workplace engagement, and implementing strategic tools to help us reach optimum productivity. She also acts in an advisory capacity to our executive management, senior business leaders and department managers. Melanie provides leadership, management and coaching to the Human Resources team which includes Talent Acquisition and Retention. She has held similar positions in both the corporate and government sectors. Melanie holds a M.A., Interdisciplinary Studies, OD/HRD concentration, a B.A. in Special Education, and several industry certifications.
