Technica Advisory Board
In March 2016, the Technica Advisory Board was formed in response to passing the $100 million revenue milestone and entering a new phase of growth and innovation. The Board will be comprised of industry leaders, sector, and technology experts who will provide guidance and oversight in strategic planning, market penetration and growth, research and development, and acquisitions.
Tim Keenan is the Technica Advisory Board’s charter member and will guide and advise Technica on defining and executing accelerated growth strategies. An active advisor and entrepreneur, Tim is widely known for the planning, and building, of successful companies supporting government missions. At the helm of HPTi, he led the company from its inception through years of double-digit growth of professional services business to its sale to DRC (now Engility) at around the 500 employee mark. Following the sale of HPTi, Tim has been an advisor for several companies, and has focused on helping educate and guide the next generation of entrepreneurs and executive management.
Tim currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the George Mason University School of Management and Georgetown University, on the James Madison University Dean’s Council, and the Dean’s Advisory Council, The Ohio State University. He is also active in a number of local philanthropic causes. Tim graduated with a B.S. from The Ohio State University and earned his M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Steven Wiltse, CPA
As a member of the Technica Advisory Board, Mr. Wiltse brings to bear his deep expertise in business development, tax issues and financial management, and will play a key role in connecting Technica with key people and businesses for continued growth and development. As part of the Advisory Board, Mr. Wiltse will use his extensive relationships in the government contracting industry, financial services sector, and investment banking, and to help accelerate and evolve Technica’s expansion and strategic planning.
Mr. Wiltse is a serial entrepreneur and business leader with over 35 years’ experience in successfully building and growing organizations organically and through acquisition. As co-founder & partner, Mr. Wiltse helped grow Argy, Wiltse, & Robinson, P.C., to one of the region’s largest CPA firms before being acquired by BDO in 2012. Mr. Wiltse currently serves on various boards and most recently served on the Board of Directors for Cardinal Financial Corporation, one of the largest financial institutions in Virginia with assets of over $4 Billion.
T.M. “Tim” Batchelor joins Technica’s Advisory Board with a background in corporate finance, analysis, and equity investment. Mr. Batchelor’s role on Technica’s Advisory Board is to advise the company on strategic accelerators to growth including customer expansion with the Defense and Intelligence sector and measured growth transitioning towards a heavy emphasis on unrestricted (non-set-aside) government contracting programs.
Mr. Batchelor is a founding partner of White Peak Capital, a full-service merchant banking firm with over $35 billion corporate transactions. Prior to forming White Peak, Mr. Batchelor and other partners formed McGuireWoods Capital Group where he completed transactions from $10 million to $800 million. He was also founding member of PaineWebber’s Financial Sponsors Group where he was involved with transactions in the fields of technology, telecom, business services, industrial and others. Mr. Batchelor is a graduate of Columbia Business School in New York, James Madison University in Virginia and completed his accounting degree requirements at the University of Virginia. He has served on the Advisory or Board of Directors of many non-profit and for-profit businesses.
